A classic stadium blanket is defined as a fleece blanket that is 50″ x 60″.  Typically, these blankets are made from a blend of 50/50 cotton and polyester.  The fabric of the classic stadium blanket would remind you of a nice warm sweatshirt.  The outside (or top) of the blanket is sweatshirt fleece, the underside (bottom) is the fuzzier side of the fleece that you would typically find on the inside of a nice warm sweatshirt.

Classic stadium blankets come in up to 17 colors standard, and custom colors are available, for larger orders. The blankets have mitered corners and hemmed edges, using double needle stitching. The material is pill-resistant air jet yarn and weighs in at 9 ounces.  A classic stadium blanket is literally a tank of a blanket.  We consider these to be life-long keepsakes.

While the size and weight of the blanket itself is impressive, the real “wow” of the blankets that we produce is the size of the imprint.  Most screen printing companies are setup to print t-shirts, and since the widest print a t-shirt would typically accept is 18″ x 20″, most of these screen printing shops have presses that can print up to that size.  But when you put an 18″ x 20″ image on a 50″ x 60″ stadium blankets, it looks like you put a postage stamp on a pool cover.
