Design Your Own Blanket

The fall season is one of my favorite times of the year because I enjoy layers.  It’s not that I prefer colder temperatures, it’s really that I just enjoy the comfort of jackets, hoodies, blankets, and all those other ‘bundle up’ type garments.  Blankets are especially the best part of the season because who doesn’t love wrapping up in big blanket?  Well, what if I told you that you could take a regular blanket and make it even better with customization?  Why yes, you can design your own blanket and it’s easier than you think!

So the first step on your way to design your own blanket is finding the right printing company.  Blankets are pretty big and you’re going to want an appropriately sized print to match it.  If you try to print artwork at a standard T shirt logo size on a blanket, you will end up with a ridiculously small print dwarfed on the wide open space.  What you will need for custom blankets is what we call oversized screen printing.  Oversized screen printing is not something every printing company is capable of so be sure to work with one that can.
