Best Stadium Blankets

It is always challenging to select a vendor for stadium blankets because the market is flooded with them. Stadium blankets have been around since the 1940’s and have had decades to mature into a vast market of choices. But how do you determine who has the best stadium blankets?

Well … that depends on how you define “best”.

A classic stadium blanket measures 60″ x 50″ and is a blend of cotton and polyester. It has mitered and hemmed corners and is at least 10 ounces in fabric weight.  If we use this as the starting point for your decision, you can add personal preference on what really determines which blanket is the best.

Some people define best as a blanket that is bigger than 60″ x 50″.  Personally, I find blankets bigger than 50″ x 60″ to be cumbersome.  I’ve seen blankets as big as 84″ or even 96″ and frankly, you’ll risk tripping on them they are so big. If you are an averaged size person in the XS – 2XL range, a standard stadium blanket will work just fine for you.

Other people will define a blanket as the best stadium blanket if it is thinner and lighter weight. They value the ability to carry it around and use it on picnics.  This is a reasonable definition, but, the vast majority of stadium blankets that we sell are used for warmth during an outdoor sporting event in the fall or winter. In this scenario the worst blanket would be a thin and light weight blanket.
